This was my favorite excuse to go out. As you might know, there are many colleges in Boston including the famous/good ones. All these colleges have students who like to socialize, organize, learn, participate, eat, play, and do fun things. You, as an international student, will visit the college's website, will find the event you want to attend, will register (if necessary), will go the event and have fun. It is this simple. Let's give an example:
"My friend Claudia from Venezuela came to Boston a month ago. She is 22 years old. She wants to go out to practice English, meet new people, and enjoy an activity or an event. She goes to MIT's website from the links that I provided. She sees an event about salsa dancing. She is happy that she can read the event details on the website. All the details have been provided; location, time and cost (free). Then she checks the address on google maps to learn how to get there. On the event day, she goes to MIT, meets new people, makes new friends, enjoys her time dancing and practicing English, and comes back home."
What sort of events can you expect to attend at a college?
| Movie | Seminar | Dancing | Music |
| English Class | Martial Arts | Food Tasting | Economics |
| Knitting | Fashion Show | Comedy Show | Games |
| Art Exhibit | Bible Study | Technology | Many Others |
Most of these events are for free. You should give a try. College events also include sports events. I'll put more information in the Sports section.
